Many years ago, I arrived in the UK; bright-eyed and looking for an adventure. Little did I know that Annie had other plans at Sunnyhill for me! 2 Days of supply work turned into three months, and then it snowballed from there.
Oh my goodness, what a time we had!! She made a life-long impression on me - Annie taught me a lot about human nature, how to be a kinder and more caring person and to always look out for the 'little people' without a voice in our world. It made me smile that she requested that people wear bright colours to her funeral - that is so Annie!!
My memorable moments include:
* open-bar at her 60th birthday! A bash to remember!
* her terrible Christmas pantomimes!
* a loud cough to get the attention of students... and staff; and you listened when she coughed!!
* snow days with snowmen building competitions
* Golden Time with more coughing
* her story of going to a rock concert at the Chislehurst Caves.
Annie, thank you for helping and supporting me when I needed it most.
